How billing works
- Monthly billing. Pro is $19.99/month and Business is $29.99/month, charged each month until you cancel.
- Annual billing. Pro is $99.99 once per year ($8.33/month equivalent) and Business is $139.99 once per year ($11.67/month equivalent) — 58% or more below paying monthly.
- Renewal. Starting a plan here charges the price shown on the card today, then renews on the same cycle until you cancel. A discounted paid trial is offered in some places in the app; when it is, the amount and the renewal price are stated before you pay.
- Cancellation. Cancel anytime from your account. You keep paid features until the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds for unused time.
- Switching plans. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal, so you keep what you paid for until then.
- Refunds. Subscription fees are non-refundable, except within a 30-day window for genuine technical issues — contact support and we'll review it.
- Limits. Each plan has hard limits (files/day, size, duration, storage). There are no automatic overage charges — you wait for the daily reset or upgrade.
- Taxes. Prices are shown before tax. Any applicable tax is calculated at checkout based on your billing location.
Pricing FAQ
Is there a free plan?+
Yes. The Free plan needs no card. It transcribes the first 5 minutes of each file (up to 3 files a day) so you can read, edit, copy, and download the preview as TXT or JSON. PDF, DOCX, SRT and VTT are paid-plan formats.
Am I charged the price on the card, or a trial first?+
Starting a plan from this page charges the price shown on the card — $19.99 for Standard monthly, $29.99 for Premium monthly, or the annual amount if you switch the toggle. A discounted 5-day paid trial ($5.99 Standard, $7.99 Premium) is offered in some places inside the app; where it is, the trial amount and the price it converts to are both stated before you pay, and it renews automatically unless you cancel before it ends.
Can I cancel at any time?+
Yes. You can cancel from your account at any time. You keep access to paid features until the end of the current billing period; there are no partial refunds for unused time.
What happens when I reach a limit?+
Limits (files per day, file size, duration, storage) are enforced per plan. When you hit one you are asked to wait for the daily reset or upgrade — there are no automatic overage charges.
Can I switch plans?+
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade from your account. Upgrades take effect immediately; a downgrade takes effect at your next renewal so you keep what you paid for until then.
Are refunds available?+
Subscription fees (paid trials, monthly, and annual) are non-refundable. The one exception is our 30-day technical-issues window: if a genuine technical problem prevented you from using the service, contact support within 30 days of the charge and we will review it.
Which payment methods are supported?+
Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe accepts major credit and debit cards; the exact options shown at checkout depend on your region.
Are taxes included?+
Prices are shown before tax. Any applicable tax is calculated and shown at checkout based on your billing location.
