Storage, deleting and what we keep
How much room each plan has, what deleting actually removes, and what happens if you downgrade.
How much room you have
- Free â 150 MB.
- Standard â 100 GB.
- Premium â 1 TB.
Storage counts the uploaded audio and video, which is nearly all of it. The transcripts themselves are text and take almost no space. That is why Free fills up after a handful of recordings while the transcripts are still tiny.
When you are full
New uploads stop until you free some room or move up a plan. The quickest fix is to download the audio you still need â see which download format to pick â and delete the originals here.
What deleting removes
Deleting a transcript removes the text, the summary, the translation and the uploaded media together. It is permanent and there is no recycle bin, so download anything you want to keep first.
Important
A link you shared stops working the moment the transcript is deleted. If someone still needs it, send them the file instead â see share a transcript.
If you downgrade
Dropping to a smaller plan does not delete anything. You keep what you have and simply cannot upload more until you are back under the new limit. Removing everything for good is a separate thing â see delete your account and your data.
