How to sign in

Either an email address and password, or a Google account. They are tied to the email — if you signed up with Google and later set a password for the same address, both routes reach the same account and the same files.

Forgotten password

  1. 1Click "Forgot password" on the sign-in screen.
  2. 2Enter the address you signed up with.
  3. 3Open the emailed link — it expires, so use it soon rather than tomorrow.
  4. 4Set the new password. You will be signed in.

Astuce pro

No email after a couple of minutes? Check spam, then check you are using the address you actually signed up with. If you originally used Google, sign in with Google instead — that account may never have had a password.

Two-factor authentication

You can turn on a second factor in your account settings. After that, signing in asks for a code from your authenticator app as well as your password, so a stolen password is not enough on its own.

Important

Save your recovery codes somewhere that is not your phone. If you lose the phone and the codes, getting back in is slow and requires proving the account is yours.

Staying signed in

Sessions last about a week, then ask again. Being signed out sooner than that usually means a browser clearing cookies, or private browsing. Sign out explicitly on a shared computer — closing the tab is not the same thing.
